OUR STORY​
anthropocene is the brainchild of us, tobi and logan, a result of too much leftover energy from a creative writing camp we attended together. to keep the energy we discovered together, we decided to create anthropocene and center it around the ideals we both loved from camp: community, openness, and creativity.

MISSION
more than anything, we want to build a community of creatives. not everyone can dedicate themselves wholly to their artistic pursuits, so being a publication people can take refuge in is at the forefront of our mission.
​
finding a place to share their work can be a search that young writers and artists never complete. anthropocene was designed to be the bridge between sharing work and meeting other like minded people. the spirit of sharing is at the heart of what we want to do with anthropocene–inspiring other and being inspired, hopefully to create connections like logan and i did, is what anthropocene is to us.
